Bracha’s Picks: The Best Hot Chocolate In NYC

With the temperatures dropping here in NYC what better way to embrace the season and stay warm than by indulging in a mug of hot cocoa.

Like most things in NYC, we’ve got a lot of choices when it comes to cocoa so we’ve found what we believe to be the best hot chocolate in NYC. Here are our picks:

Serendipity Make a happy discovery at Serendipity 3 on the Upper East Side (225 East 60th Street). A place made famous by the eponymous film and the delicious treats they serve, try the classic hot cocoa or the special Serendipity hot chocolate or, if you’re feeling brave, the famed frozen hot chocolate.

Jacques Torres Chocolate With multiple locations around the city, Jacques Torres serves up scrumptious, spicy hot chocolate which is sure to heat you up and keep you warm as you wander the cobble stone streets of Dumbo or check out the tree at Rockefeller Center.

Mariebelle Visit the Cacao Bar at the Mariebelle shop when you’re stocking up on cocoa for the homestead and sample some of the incredible hot chocolate concoctions like the White Hot Chocolate with cinnamon stick and nutmeg or the Milk Hot Chocolate with freshly ground hazelnuts.

Lavazza at Eataly Visiting Eataly is an awesome experience any time of year, but picking up a hot chocolate at Lavazza is a great winter activity. For the grown ups, try the Chocolate Corretto!

Le Churro Stop by the Upper East Side for some delicious filled churros with chocolate and sip on some spicy hot chocolate or any of the other delectable chocolate drinks like Nutella chocolate, mint chocolate, chile chocolate and more.
